What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Keep in mind that if you include your full name or other identifiers in your comment, that information can be viewed by anyone reading the comments section of the web site.
Advertising and affiliate links
RiverBent is an affiliate of AvantLink, a program that connects us with outdoor gear manufacturers. If a particular manufacturer provides gear that we love and recommend, we will include an “affiliate link” to that item. If you end up buying that item (or, sometimes, if you end up buying something else from that manufacturer), we might receive a small commission—at no additional cost to you.

Web site cookies
